Emily Frizell Emily Frizell is founder and CEO of AeroPM Pty Ltd. Under Emily’s leadership, AeroPM has experienced sustained and rapid growth and is the recipient of many industry awards, including being a National finalist in the Telstra Best of Business Awards and listed as a Smart50 SME and AFR Fast 100 company. Emily has been personally recognised as the Female Defence Leader of the Year, finalist in the Women in Defence Awards and shortlisted for the Telstra Business Women's Award. She is the recipient of a UN Women in Leadership Scholarship. Emily is a veteran with 25 years’ experience in Defence and Defence Industry. She proudly supports veteran employment and entrepreneurship and is a Soldier On Ambassador. She is an active member of the Princes Trust Australia Enterprise for Veterans Advisory Council, and a Board Director of the Sir Richard Williams Foundation. She is a previous Board Director of the Australian Defence Industry Network (AIDN), Queensland Government Advisory Council member, and UNSW School of Engineering Advisory Board member. Emily has certifications in project management and engineering (CPPM, CPEng, EngExec) and is a Fellow of Engineers Australia. She holds a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Engineering, an Executive Masters of Business Administration and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) course. Adam Frizell
General Manager x
Adam Frizell Adam is an accomplished and capable Business Leader within the Defence Industry. As a business owner, Adam has facilitated the rapid growth of AeroPM - an Australian and Veteran-owned national award winning professional services consulting firm within Defence Industry. Adam sits across a number of boards as a director of the Veteran Community Business Chamber (VCBC) and the Prime Minister of Australia's Veteran Advisory Council. Underpinning his business acumen, Adam holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) through the UNSW Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) program. As a practitioner, Adam is a highly capable Project Manager (CPPM, AIPM), Chief Engineer and Technical Engineer (FIEAust, EngExec, CPEng, DoSA). Adam has significant experience in Project Management and Project Engineering Management, Leadership, Airworthiness and Technical Certification of Defence Aircraft, assets and systems, including delivery of major capital acquisition programmes and major changes to Asset Type Designs. Mae Grant Mae provides operational support to the General Manager in the areas of recruitment, marketing and attracting talent. Mae also has responsibility for tradeshow and conferences and supports AeroPM’s corporate social responsibility obligations. Her previous role at AeroPM and other private organisations have enabled her to develop strong leadership, administration and human resource management skills. Mae takes immense pride in her networking ability and communication skills. Caroline Smith
Finance & Admin Lead x
Caroline Smith Caroline is the Finance and Admin Lead providing business support to the executive team. Her key responsibilities include finance and payroll management, contract support administration, events coordination, personnel management, security officer, and training & professional development liaison. During her 22 year tenure as a Defence Civilian, Caroline was an integral member of the Defence Aviation Safety Authority. Caroline directly administered the Airworthiness Board Panel and supported a number of key projects within DASA.
