LinkedIn Learning is a global online library containing thousands of high-quality, current and engaging video tutorials to help you enhance your learning and development. Subscribing to LinkedIn Learning will give you access to over 15,000 expert-led courses. LinkedIn Learning was upgraded from Lynda learning in October 2019.
Gaining Access
Most of you will be able to access LinkedIn Learning through the Defence Learning Branch. To register for your LinkedIn Learning account please visit the LinkedIn Learning SharePoint page on the Defence Restricted Network (DRN) or head to the following link - How do I register with LinkedIn Learning? If you do not have DPN access and cannot register online for a LinkedIn Learning account, you can request an Offline LinkedIn Learning Registration Form from defence.learningbranch@defence.gov.au
If you had a Lynda.com account previously, this would have been upgraded to a LinkedIn Learning account. Contact yourcustomer.service@defence.gov.au to have the status of your account checked.
Signing In
Once registering you will have 30 days to log on, before the account activation link will expire. To sign in, you will need to use your defence email address (name)@defence.gov.au and your unique LinkedIn Learning password. Remember to use a unique password that is not the same as your DPN password.

You can also access content at home, online or offline. If accessing LinkedIn Learning via an external device, please ensure you use your Defence email address as your login ID.
Connecting to your personal LinkedIn Account
Defence employees will not be able to connect their personal LinkedIn profile to LinkedIn Learning. You must create a separate Defence LinkedIn Learning account during activation. Your Defence LinkedIn Learning account cannot be connected to a personal LinkedIn account.
