Upon every visit to the AeroPM HQ, visitors are required to read the below information in relation to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and acknowledge that they understand the hazards that exist within the workplace.
If you find yourself in need of First Aid whilst in the AeroPM HQ, please alert our trained First Aid Officer Mae Grant that you are in need of assistance and she will attend to you.
Whilst visiting the AeroPM HQ please be mindful that accidents like breaks and spills do happen. If you see anything that needs attention or cleaning please advise the WHS Officer Mae Grant so that she can attend to it immediately.
On your arrival you will be given an emergency evacuation briefing that will go through the fire evacuation process by the Fire Warden Mae Grant. Please note that there is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket located at the entry to the kitchen underneath the notice board that is there for everyone’s safety. If there is a fire please contact the fire brigade on 000.
Use of Desks
When working or visiting AeroPM please feel free to access the workstations and do a self assessment to ensure that it is appropriate for your use. Prolonged use of desks and chairs that are not set-up correctly can cause injury.
- Please adjust the stand up desk to an appropriate height for you whilst sitting or standing.
- Please adjust the chair height to a comfortable position for you.
Working at Heights
If you find that you are required to access anything from storage that is above head height, there is a step ladder located in a storage cabinet in the kitchen that has been labelled for use. Please do not use chair, tables or other devices to work at heights.
Whilst visiting AeroPM HQ please feel free to help yourself to the supplies in the kitchen that have been provided. Please be mindful when using the appliances, cutlery and crockery as incorrect use could cause electric shock, burns, cuts or other injury. Please ask one of the staff if you are unsure of how to use an appliance or require assistance in the kitchen.
